The BEST acne product out there is called benzoyl peroxide. Get the generic 10% strength gel. We have it at my pharmacy for under $2. It is what most expensive acne products (Proactive, etc) contain anyway but a lot cheaper AND a lot more concentrated. It works better than salicylic acid, which is what is in Oxy Pads, Clearasil, etc. The gel works better than cream and body washes. Wash your problem areas with whatever you choose twice a day. Apply the benzoyl peroxide afterward. Begin applying it once a day and work up to 3 times a day as your face gets used to it. It is very drying so work up gradually and you may need a moisturizer if you have sensitive skin. I wish I would have learned of this in HS so I could have benefited. Benzoyl peroxide really is the main ingredient in almost every acne product (read the back of the box!) and the only ingredient that really works so why bother spending a ton of money on the name brand "special formula? " It's not special or top secret, it's just benzoyl! hehe. Good luck! |

If you just have a small amount of acne on your back I would personally recommend trying to dry it out with a soap like Irish Spring or origianl Dial shower daily & wash the area well. All acne washes put chemicals into your body which should be your last resort. |

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point. For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/ articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all. Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck. Oh, by the way the site that helped me is: acne-treatment-medicine-1.info medical-research-study-directory.info/ lasik-surgery-san-diego.info/ san-diego-dentist.us san-diego-plastic-surgery-cosmetic-surgery-doctors.us/ medical-research-study-directory.info/ medical-research-study-directory/ legal-advice-library.info/ blog medical-research-study-directory.info bail-bond-jail-directory.info brokerforyou.com/ brokerforyou/ palermo-homes.com/ inkjet-cartridge-source.com/ hoodia-diets.info/ |
