Which of these acne medications work best and how are they used?
I have 2 acne medications, Erythromycin Benzoyl Peroxide Topical Gel and Clindamycin Phosphate Gel USP 1 %. I used to use Differen 0.3 % and Clindamycin Phosphate Gel after that immediately and it was working fine. I had to stop using Differin because the insurance stopped covering it. Is it ok to use the Erythromycin Benzoyl and then the Clindamycin right after, or what? I want to use both of thoes medications but don't know how or when to use it.Also, I have the product Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub. Is it ok if I use that product maybe in the morning and use the other 2 medications at night? Or if not, when should I use all 3 of these medications, most likely the Biore scrub is used by itself.Thankss

Hi I was told to use CeraVe Cleanser, CeraVe Lotion, Epiduo, and to take Doxycycline. The problem is in my order from the pharmacy, there was another lotion called Sodium Sulfacetamide 10 % and Sulfur 5 % lotion and I have no idea how to use it. I think the doctor might have forgotten to tell me what to do with it. He said wash and moisturize twice a day with the CeraVe stuff then at night use Epiduo, and in the mornings take the Doxycycline. If you've been prescribed Sodium Sulfacetamide 10 % and Sulfur 5 % lotion, can you please tell me what to do with it?
Is it OK to use two acne medications?
I have Clean & Clear and it works OK, but I wanted something better, so I bought Clearasil. Is it OK to use both at the same time? Clean & Clear has benzoyl peroxide 10 % while Clearasil uses salicylic acid 2 % .
Does anyone have a good acne medication/natural cure that might work for me?
I have tried Skin ID, Proactive, everything from walmart, and even Thomas Paul Roth and Arbonne FC5 acne systems. None of them have worked. A lot of them make my face dry out really bad and start to burn horribly when I put them on, even if I use a moisturizer. If I only use a moisterizer to clear up the dry skin, my face gets super oily.. but if I don't, the dry skin never goes away. Any suggestions would be sooo helpful Thanks Chari
Help With Acne Medications?
Ok so i'm on acne meds and i was on vacation for a week and i forgot to bring them. My acne was really good that week. My first week back i started using them again and i broke out the first day using them again. Is this a normal reaction when using meds? What should i do if not just stop using them all together?i already have meds...im just wondering if its normal to break out if i stopped using them for a week then started using them again. I broke out when i started using them again
Take more acne medication?
I took some pretty strong medication for my acne a while ago and my skin was clear for about a year. However my acne came back so my parents want me to take the medication again. I personally do not want to since it's probably not good for my body and I'd rather use something more natural for my skin. But my parents keep urging me to, reminding me about acne scars and what not. Am I in the wrong here? Looks shouldn't be everything anyway...
Can acne medication be used as a good lube?
Me and my 4 husbands are trying a little experiment tonight. Unfortunately, we live 20 miles away from any civilization. The only other options for lube is a bag of Doritos, or eye drops. I believe that the only thing I own that can be used as lube is my clearasil. Please help
Is it possible that one acne medication would work and another would not?
like im thinking one ingredient of otc works and the other type doesnt at all even though the other type that doesn't work for me is the most popular one used and considered the best. why would this be?
What is the best acne medication for me to use?
I've tried everything I've tried using only soap and washing my face in the morning and night, but that just dried my face out. I've also tried Proactiv Deep Cleansing Wash and Clear Zone Body Lotion, and all that did was cure the dryness of my face. I've tried Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash Cream Cleanser and I've tried Clean and Clear Blackhead Cleaning Astringent. None of these are working, and I'm running out of ideas. I'm on a budget as well, and I'm just getting tired of having stupid acne on my face and having to cover it up. If anyone can suggest something to try, please, it would be greatly appreciated

How do I recover from a facial sunburn due to acne medication?
I recently started using a new acne facial treatment. I did not read the bottle carefully and, though it cautioned against extended sun exposure, I played in a tennis tournament without taking enough precaution to protect my face. Now, my face has broken out into dark patches of dead, dry skin and my eyes are extremely irritated. I have been applying aloe lotion regularly, but it stings and only provides momentary relief from the dryness. Will these dark patches go away and, if so, how soon? Whan can I do to expedite this process?
Is the acne medication Proactive failing you too?
I've used the product Proactive for years, since I was 14 so about 10 years. But recently my face is breaking out more than ever. It doesn't even make sense for me to keep buying the product. I've tried drinking more water, washing my face more often but nothing works. The biggest problem is I am getting married in one month and my face is so broken out I am at a lost at what I should do. Is anyone else having this problem with Proactive and any suggestions on what I can do, or another product that works better?I don't know if it matter but for years Proactive had cleared my acne. Just made my teens and early 20's wonderful. But I'm wondering if I'm like immune to it now or something and need to try something else? Stupid I know but not sure whats going on with it

I used to use retinae which worked pretty well, but now my prescription is over. And instead of going back to the dermatologist, I want to try something non prescription, that I can get at CVS or the grocery. What is the best working acne medication cream that you put on for OVERNIGHT before you go to bed, and let it do it's magic while you are asleep?
