Question: Any cheap back acne treatment!? (Posted by: phghb on 2009-02-23 14:25:42) I want treatments that ideally take affect within 4 months due to a school trip which includes a vast amount swimming! I have mild/ moderate back acne and also around my shoulders, I don't want to use any expensive treatments or dermatologists and would like to avoid seeing my GP if possible. Is their any treatment in the UK which I can buy on the high street or any home remedies. Thanks =) Also needs to be available in the U.K Also needs to be available in the U.K

Posted by: The victorious reign on 2009-02-23, 14:49:10 Any cream with benzoyl peroxide should work. it's anywhere form 3-$5. a tube depending what brand you get the store brands work fine to. They have more of the active ingredient then proactive to. which makes me wonder why proactive charges so much. proactive has %2.5 percent of benzoyl peroxide while the $3. tube in front of me has %10. lol

Posted by: pinkbull on 2009-02-23, 14:54:09 Had same problem in my teens. my doctor prescribed me antibiotics,also advised me to expose my back to sunlight.sunbeds do work,but be careful not to get addicted to them.have been acne free for over 15 years.
