Anyone a dermatologist? or suffered from cystic acne please!!!!?
i get these deep painful pimples on my chin are i think its cystic acne im really frustrated and when i break out with them like every other week i don't even like leaving the house i still see my pediatrician so i went there and i tried proactive and basically everything you can buy in the store i also tried tretinoin which made my skin worse i took doxycycline and now i use birth control pills i topically use benzoyl peroxide 2.5 percent face wash and clindamycin im 16 is there anything i can try or do or ask to get from the doctor to make these stop and go away..? please help also i have no insurance so i dont wanna pay for a dermatologist that wont do anything for me

I have cystic acne and i'm going to the dermatologist next Thursday Soonest appointment they had . Anyway, i am in so much pain most of the time. If i smile too wide i just die... I end up having to clench my teeth so hard that it ends up hurting my teeth too. Lose lose situation... Is there anything i can do to make it not hurt so much? Just until i go to the dermo? Can i take ibuprofin? Help please
Can cystic acne cause problems with the brain?
I can literally feel a " cloud" in the front part of my brain. My eyes get all foggy like something needs to come out at night. I also have a weird ass disease, called POIS, post orgasmic illness syndrome. It sucks so bad. I used to be a totally normal smart kid and now I have all of these problems. Can cystic acne cause this? I realize that these problems all started after I had gotten terrible acne. I have this really weird hurting feeling in the back of my head everyday. Is there some infection in my brain?? cystic acne?? This sucks so bad
Treating adult cystic acne?
I am 25 years old and have always had a bit of an acne problem but since having my daughter 7 months ago I have had cystic acne that I cannot clear up. I have seen a dermatologist but nothing is helping. I used to take Minocin as a teen and it worked great but for this it is doing nothing. I am also on birth control used for acne treatment Diane 35 and 2 creams...Differin and benzoclin. Still...nothing. I don't seem to get any new acne with it but I have had the same cysts for the last 7 months. I do not want to try Accutane...I will not go there as I have heard the worst of the worst. I'd rather have then acne then take that. If you know of anything else that might help please let me know. Thanks so much.

well basically i have cystic acne, i am taking isotretinoin tablets 50 mg per day. and i have started body building and i have found out that tuna chunks help with your bodybuilding by giving you a lot of protein and i wanna get big. is the tuna going to affect my cystic acne ? and if it dosen't how many tins of tuna shall i eat in a day ? plz help

I'm 16 years old and not until about 3 months ago I began to get cystic acne all over my face.I began to get a lot of acne on forehead but then it stopped completely but it began coming out on cheeks and chin.I have a very oily face and where I have cystic acne when it goes away it leaves a spot even though I don't pop it. I drink lots of water 8 glasses a day and exercise also.

What is a home remedy for cystic acne?
I am leaving for the Marine Corps this July and I won't be accepted because the lame doctors at MEPS said I have to clear up my cystic acne on my upper back or else I won't be shipped to Parris Island, because of the whole, I will be carrying lots of gear and rubbing my back and it might get infected. My recruiter said they are just old an cranky. And, besides, I played football throughout high school, I never got my back infected with all that gear on. Come on, seriously? Ok, but I still fear that they won't accept me to be shipped to South Carolina. What is a good home remedy for cystic acne? Please help me Thanks

I am on accutane which is slowly progressively helping me and reducing itHowever I still get a cyst now and again and when I do it's very painful.. I have woken up to it bleeding some days.. I was wondering is there anything I can put on the cysts when I get them to reduce the pain and swelling?
Cystic acne or something else?
About 6 months ago I started to get what I thought was a cystic acne just one on the side of my chin. In about 3 weeks it was about the size of a dime. It was somewhat soft in the center but it never came to head. I used stievamycin on it religiously and about a month later it reduced about 90 % in size but now it's a hard small bump which I can feel more than see. The weird thing is, it gets super itchy sometimes. It's been 6 months since it first appeared. It's still here and on random days it's very itchy. I'm always having to scratch around. I still use Stievamycin on it every night. Could it be something else? Does cystic acne leave bumps behind?
Cystic Acne Nightmare!?
Alright so I've had really bad acne all my life almost. It started when I was 11 and now I'm 24 and it's still here. My acne would get better sometimes with the most basic of cleansers like Oxy and stuff like that. Now that I'm 24 my acne has come back and is the worse type of acne you can get. It is cystic acne. This started 9 months ago after I decided to wash my face with scented soap. A HUGE cyst appeared by my nose and from then on more followed. My brother even named my first cyst " Alfonso" because it was that big.Anyway...basically cysts will appear whenever I get acne of any kind, even if I just get just once little acne. They acne will swell usually within 4 days of appearing, instead of healing. They get big and swollen and painful and can take weeks upon weeks to even start to not swell anymore, regardless if I touch it or not. If I pop them, that helps reduce the swelling in the long run but every cyst that I get leaves one of two things behind to remind me it was there. A dark red scar even if I don't touch it , or a hard bump under the skin. Sometimes these will fade away within like 3 5 months...but some stay. I have had the Alfonso one who started this madness, under my skin for over a year now So...I started to become frightened after about 9 months of having cystic acne. I starting thinking that my face would never heal and I'd look ugly for the rest of my life with all the red scars and swelling bumps. I read up on how to cure it. I tried reducing my milk and sugar intakes. Reducing sugar actually has slowed down the acne but has not stopped it. I switched to using non scented Ivory soap instead of Scented soap.Next I tried drinking lots of water and lemon juice. I tried using Benzoyl Peroxide on my face in hefty amounts. Surprisingly this tamed the acne a lot. The scars faded a bit, the swelling faded...and my skin cleared up for the first time in months. ...But even so, my face still has dark red scars in some areas and the acne still persists. I have about 4 tiny ones that are swollen right now. Then...after about a month of using Benzoyl my face got really dry...It looks like crocodile skin. I'm 24, and when I smile I look like I am 30 cause it makes me look like I have wrinkles. D So, I bought a moisturizer which claims to fade scars, fade wrinkles, and get rid of dry skin. I also started taking apple cider vinegar pills which hurt my tummy sometimes because I've heard these can help get rid of cysts.So........Does anyone have any clue or experience with this sort of nightmare? I once had fair, beautiful Irish skin and now it's all crocodile, cystic and inflamed sometimes. It made me so depressed I didn't leave my house for 3 4 months That's how bad it was....even make up did nothing to hide the acne. My goal is to make my skin so clear that if I came out of a swimming pool, and my future boyfriend pulled back my hair to give me a kiss, he's smile and tell me I was a fair angel or something like that. Haha...it's something to keep me working at this. I have made extreme progress with the benzoyl and the diet switch but I need this to go away completely.Thanks for any help anyone I am trying so hard everyday Also...I haven't been getting much sun. Can the sun help my skin?Oh and I'm not saying 30 year olds have wrinkles. I meant to say it just makes me look about 10 years older than what I am.
Will my Cystic acne Ever go away?
It started 2 years ago when i was 16. It doesn't really run in my family, only my aunt suffered from some big pimples, but not as bad as my cystic acne. I tried everything from minocycline, doxy, tazorac, duac, BP, and now my doctor wants me to go on accutane. It did get better but then came back. I dont want to go on accutane b c its not natural. I dont want something disturbing my body b c then my body my start to depend on it later on. Right now i'm using a product from UIta and its working really good. Do you think when i'm older my hormones will start to balance and it might get better b c its not really in my family. Do you think its just a hormone problem?Those last 2 yrs of high school were really stressful for me. I'm suffering from depression and my family's going through tough times do you think that might effect it?
