Question: How to prevent cystic acne? (Posted by: killer93 on 2010-03-23 20:00:06) I'm 16 years old and not until about 3 months ago I began to get cystic acne all over my face. I began to get a lot of acne on forehead but then it stopped completely but it began coming out on cheeks and chin. I have a very oily face and where I have cystic acne when it goes away it leaves a spot even though I don't pop it. I drink lots of water 8+ glasses a day and exercise also.

Posted by: amy b on 2010-03-24, 12:58:15 I know its very hard and annoying. i still geet it occasionally near my period. it could be hormonal , stress related, or diet related. try eating more raw fruits and veggies.. Suppliments good for skin: Biotin, vit A, vit, E, Fish oil ... If its very bad, go to the dermotologist, they usually prescribe good stuff. I was on differen and it worked well hope this helps
