Question: Anyone a dermatologist? or suffered from cystic acne please!!!!? (Posted by: "L" on 2010-05-11 17:51:10) I get these deep painful pimples on my chin are i think its cystic acne im really frustrated and when i break out with them like every other week i don't even like leaving the house i still see my pediatrician so i went there and i tried proactive and basically everything you can buy in the store i also tried tretinoin which made my skin worse i took doxycycline and now i use birth control pills i topically use benzoyl peroxide 2.5 percent face wash and clindamycin im 16 is there anything i can try or do or ask to get from the doctor to make these stop and go away..? please help! also i have no insurance so i dont wanna pay for a dermatologist that wont do anything for me

Posted by: brother_lu on 2010-05-11, 17:55:00 I'm' not sure if it's cystic acne, but i get these annoying fluid/ pus buildup in my ears (bottom of the ear lobe).. if it gets really bad, they can put a needle in there to drain it, and then a cortizone shot to take care of the rest of it..
