Unusual dermatology symptom?
Hey there. I'm really at a loss.. I'll try to keep this brief and just list what's been going on, been a slow cascade of symptoms creeping up over the past 6 months and I don't even know which forum this best fits in. the first thing is these weird lines that appear on my arms if there's any kind of pressure on them like, even sweatshirt sleeves , they aren't like anything you would normally expect like indentations in your skin from pressure. it looks like the skin just crumples up and it doesn't " bounce back" for, sometimes, several hours. my dermatologist said he has never seen anything like it before, did cbc chem, ANA, a full thyroid panel and a biopsy in april and it all came back normal. around the same time, I started getting joint pain, worse on the left side, mostly in my wrists and elbows. this has been ongoing since its onset. I also started urinating more. no pain, no odor, no increase or change in fluid intake, and its normal amounts of urine every time, but its frequent as in, one night I counted and it was 12 times between 4pm and 12am, and the only thing I consumed in that time was a small glass of milk at 4 and a granola bar . fast forward to about 6 weeks ago, I noticed two anterior cervical lymph nodes on the left side, approximately lateral to crichoid cartilage that are very swollen.. visible just by looking. they don't hurt to touch but it feels like there's pressure in the back of my throat and up to my ear. my dr gave me a ten day course of augmentin, a few weeks ago, but I actually feel worse. over the past week or so, I've had this aching in my back flanks . it intermittently spreads up to my shoulder blades and is worse on the left side. in the past few days, it feels like I can literally feel my kidneys. they just really ache. my appetite is barely there. when I do eat, it doesnt cause any pain or other issues, its just very unappealing, I just really don't feel like I eating. again, my bloodwork has been totally normal and a urinalysis was totally normal. my regular doctor told me its just anxiety and gave me scripts for anti anxiety meds and anti depressants.. but I'm truly not under much stress and I'm not depressed.. he really just doesn't believe me. I don't know what to do and I'm worried a new doctor is going to blow me off, too.. does anyone have any thoughts on what might be going on? as for the arm, the " crinkling" happens on both sides, usually from wrist to elbow. thank you in advance the dermatologist tried different antihistamines, btw, but didn't do anything for it. he also ruled out pressure uticaria there's a picture of it here flickr.com photos tinytoes 4535344224

Question bout dermatology problems for my hair and scalp...?
I feel a little weird for asking this, but I needed information and or links regarding a problem with my scalp and my hair that doctors can't seem to figure out for some unknown, incompetent reason.Diagnosis Either Galderma, Psoriasis, Male Pattern Baldness, or allergy irritation...resulting in special shampoo each time...which doesn't work.I am not comfortable with this diagnosis. Several different doctors have given me this analysis and I figure it is about time to take matter into my own hands for my own well being.Problem About 3 months ago, a particular patch of my hair started thinning. I have no history of baldness in my family. I am only 28 years old and plus the thinning hair is off centered on the right side of the top of my head in like a rectangular shape or an " off" circle. There are red marks smudges all over my scalp now and I have been told that it is not lice, nor have I ever seen any sign of them in the past few months since this problem started. I have constant itching all over my head, and it feels like things are crawling all over my scalp kind of a tingling feeling there is nothing visible on my scalp. Actually, this all started after I had a shaved head for over a year and then grew my hair back out don't think that makes a difference tho . I did away with all hair product, any type of flat iron since I have wavy hair , and stopped using the strong dermatology shampoo which just wasn't working. One doctor wanted to put me on some HEAVY DUTY meds for counteracting baldness, without even confirming that I was going bald first. These meds had enormous amounts of side effects that pretty much would have limited me in doing many things.Question s Has anyone ever seen or heard of something like this? Is there a type of fungus or mite that cannot be seen, but will still be evident? Is there any links to a site that I can research this on my own? Also, is there an over the counter cream or shampoo that I could use just in case there is something there..even if I haven't been diagnosed with anything yet?PS The funny thing is it looks like what my dog had on her leg when I adopted her from the pound. She had a patch of red dry skin where the hair had stopped growing out of it...turned out to be mites.I need help, cuz I am really upset with the stupidity of these doctors. I mean, no other spot on my head is like this, so I swear it is something else.
