Question: Dermatology in arizona? (Posted by: Shayla on 2009-10-28 01:29:00) So, I really want to become a Dermatologist. I'm out of high school, and took a few months off to really think and research about what I want to do with my life. I went to a small high school, but I have the grades. I was the Salutatorian, so that's not a problem. I know that I have to do four years in maybe a Bachelors in Science, lots of Biology and Chemistry? And then four years of medical school, and then four years for my residency. My questions are this: - What on earth is residency? I know, dumb but I have no clue. - Medical school for dermatology in Arizona? What would my major and degree be? What college would I go to? - And then if someone could elaborate on the residency thing again, where and what and how and why and who. Lol, just all of it? Thanks in advance!!
