Hi,year ago I had severe acne it was due to facial massage reaction?
Although I never had any acne or pimple problems..I have a dry skin.after one year my acne is gone I used benozoyl peroxide but I am left with blemishes and pores on my face .I used proactive but it didn't work for me.recently my husband bought neutrogena pore refining toner but it contains 35 percent alcohol denat .is it ok to use it shop is not taking back the item as I broke the seal.but can I use it I don't want to develop more pores or blemishes I am also using neutrogena oil free moisturer .pleas guide rgarding neutrogena pore refining toner

I have been suffering from acne for a long time. Not just little whiteheads that go away. I consistently get cystic under the skin pustules that get swollen and red acne and they have left really bad scars and I am really self conscious about it. I need to get rid of the pimples I have on my face. I have mild to severe acne. HELP!?
I am currently seeing a dermatologist. he has me doing the following...1 in the morning... a wash my face with cetaphil the gentle scrub b spread benzaclin on the areas where i have acne. a LIGHT coating.2 at night before i go to bed... a again...wash my face with cetaphil the gentle scrub b spread retinA on the areas where i have acne. a LIGHT coating. I have acne between my eyebrows, above that, on my nose not really bad there , on either side of my nose under my eyes both sides this is the worst part , and my chin this is the second worst part . in the bad areas i have many condensed red inflamed whiteheads, ones that don't come to a head, and black heads. This troubles me ALOT. i am in 7th grade and am 13. i am in puberty NO SHIT XP i have been researching causes and such of acne. I am modifying my diet so there are less sweets and more apples and such. i get alot of exercise. most of the time when i get home from the park or wherever i was i take a shower and wash my face. i have another appointment with the dermatologist NEXT WEEK. i have been doing the routine listed above for about a month. My acne troubles me with socializing MAJORLY . i want to know if there are any home remedies or face washed that are strong and affordable. btw i am a guy P i appreciate all answers. this really troubles me with girls too. like ALOT . Severe acne problem?
I'm 14 and i have tons of zits all over my forehead and in my hair line, as well as blackheads around my nose and chin. I've tried all the simple home remedies like toothpaste and honey and none of that stuff works. I'm trying to avoid the doctors office just because it's so expensive and an unnecessary extremely long wait. I've researched into products like Proactiv and Neutragena Skin ID as well as the Zeno Hot Spot and prescription Epidou. I'm interested in learning more about how these products work and which ones are effective. Please share your experiences with these products. Thanks.

I have severe acne problems im 15 I have tried all topical gels and creams, prescriptions, and clearisil, neutrogena, proactive. None worked. My docter said if my prescription doesnt work in 1 month, to come back and she will get me oral medication, such as Acneace or something. However, my mom said she will never let me use oral medications because they are bad for you and can damage your liver...is this true? How can I convince her to get me the oral medication??
